A KEEPSAKE
CELEBRATING
CALGARY’S
150TH YEAR

To celebrate Calgary’s 150th year a keepsake book is being created to commemorate this special occasion. And all Calgarians are invited to be the authors. Here is an opportunity for you to express in your own creative way how living in Calgary makes your life more meaningful. What does Calgary mean to you? This is a perfect opportunity for all Calgarians to unite in creating a historical document that celebrates and acknowledges Calgary’s current 150th year. Part scrapbook, part time capsule, this beautiful and meaningful book is a love letter to Calgary - a keepsake emphasizing a significant place and moment in time. This commemorative book will capture the tone and spirit of our city and become a symbol of our unity and pride. It will serve as a reminder that what makes a city great is not its history, amenities or attractions but its citizens and their personal and individual stories. Deadline for submissions is July 31, 2026.
